Services We Offer
The Experts in Prevention, Treatment and Cures

A lot has changed over the past several months. We wash our hands more. We wear masks. We have become experts at video chat. But some things haven’t changed. Your healthcare needs haven’t stopped.

With comprehensive testing, universal masking and safety protocols in place, we know that our hospitals and clinics are among the safest places to receive care in the state. Across our healthcare enterprise, our teams are dedicated to taking care of our community and your health needs.

We Believe Your Health Needs Haven't Stopped

We believe your health needs haven't stopped. Neither should you. Neither do we. OU Medicine has continued caring for our communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. As an academic healthcare enterprise, we are prepared to take care of patients in the current public health environment.

Becker's Top 100 Nationwide

OU Medical Center has been named one of the 100 Great Hospitals in America for 2020 by Becker’s Hospital Review, a national publication for healthcare decision-makers. The hospitals included on this list have been recognized nationally for excellence in clinical care, patient outcomes and staff and physician satisfaction. These institutions are industry leaders that have achieved advanced accreditation and certification in several specialties.

How OU Medicine is Keeping You Safe

  • Universal masking has been in place at OU Medicine since the beginning of the pandemic and is a key component to patient and employee safety.
  • Our personal protective equipment on-hand for OU Medicine is at a strong level – with 30 days on hand at any given moment.
  • Patients receiving treatment for COVID-19 are cared for in separate areas than non-COVID-19 patients. Widespread screening, testing and pre-admission procedures are in place to ensure patients receiving care are not COVID-19 positive.
  • OU Medical Center’s lab and its high-throughput capability allows for widespread testing of our patients, providers and employees, which allows a safe, COVID-free care environment for our patients.
  • OU Medicine conducts widespread and aggressive screening and testing of healthcare employees to ensure patient safety when receiving care.
  • Visitation policies are temporarily restricted and follow the guidance of Governor Kevin Stitt’s re-opening plan for Oklahoma.
  • Pre-appointment and pre-admissions processes have been established to ensure patient safety. Processes include patient screening, patient testing and appropriate lead times to ensure that patients receive the proper protection from COVID-19 when utilizing our services.
  • OU Medicine is managing physical distancing and elective surgery with CDC guidance and is, therefore, staggering different services accepting patients and maintaining a lower volume of cases to ensure proper protection is always in place for patients and providers.
